The on road price of R15 version 2.0 in Delhi is INR 1,27,015 which includes an RTO fee of around INR 8,100 and insurance of INR 3,000. The bike is an excellent choice if going for the premium 150 cc bike segment. It uses an aluminum swingarm and comes with a delta-box frame under it's body panels, making sharp corner cutting as easy as a straight road. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and uses liquid cooling along with fuel injection for a better ride.

The R15 Version 1.0 has been discontinued, and is no longer available. If you're looking to buy the version 1.0, your best bet is going to be the second hand bike market. However, the R15 S is available in Chennai and it is quite identical to the R15 version 1.0. You may want to look into it.

The Yamaha R125 is not going to launch in India for the following reasons: (i) There won't be enough buyers. Not many people will be interested in buying a Yamaha R125 when a Pulsar 220F is available at a same or a lesser price. (ii) Globally, the 125cc bikes are learner motorcycles. You don't need a licence to ride them. However, in India you need a licence to even ride a 100cc motorcycle. (iii) Premium 125cc bikes might cause product cannibalism.

Both bikes have their pros and cons, but the KTM duke 200 is a better choice. Here's why. 1) High-power 200cc engine: 25bhp and 20 Nm torque. Revs to 10000 rpm, and sounds like a two-stroker. Also has enough low-end torque to be able to cruise at 35kmph in 6th gear. 2) It has a short-ratio gearbox which allows the bike to accelerate to 100 KMPH in just 10 seconds. 3) It is loaded with features such as trellis frame, Multi-function fully digital speedo console, alloy one-piece handlebar, aluminium swingarm, upside-down front forks etc 4) The riding position is better for long distances. 5) It a very light bike, has good handling, can easily cut through traffic and perform well on the track too.

The Yamaha R15 is available in both old as well as new variant. The older one has been named R15-S while it actually is visually older and technically the same as the new R15 version 2.0. The bike uses a single long seat instead of the divided unit on the version 2.0, thereby providing a better ride experience to the pillion rider. The engine powering the same is a 149 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected unit producing 16.36 BHP and 15 Nm of torque. It costs INR 1,15,241.

The approximate price for a 2015 Yamaha R15 version 2.0 is INR 90,000. The visor can be easily replaced if the scratches are deep otherwise you can even cover the same with a transparent paper sheet or a sticker, whichever suits you well. Please check whether the servicing has been done on time as bikes like R15 require timely fluid change for a good performance, otherwise, the risk of engine damage increases.

There is no actual launch date for the version 3.0 of R15 available with the bike fans around the world. The bike has been spotted testing at few locations but the actual design cannot be described due to heavy camouflage. A rendering for the same has been available online as it is said that it would be based on the design of new MT-15. The bike would be identical in specification and may use USD forks and LED lights in the coming future.

The Yamaha YZF-R125 is currently not available in any state of India as Yamaha is currently not in a hurry to launch a bike which has no defined segment and a negligible price difference from the R15. You can go for R15 in that case as it comes with a bigger engine and smoother drive. R125 has a 124.7 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine producing 14.8 BHP and 12.4 NM of torque. It gets a top speed of 126 kmph. You can consider R15 as it produces 16.8 BHP and 15 NM of torque.

The best option out of both the selected bikes is the Yamaha R15. The bikes are having a lot of differences between them as they are made to target two different types of riders. Gixxer provides a relaxed ride whereas the R15 keeps you connected to the road with its aggressive riding position and an urge to pull the bike as much as possible. The best bike when you consider mileage as your first preference would be the Hero Hunk. It would return a mileage of approx 45 kmpl, which is more than R15's 35-40 kmpl. The Hunk is available in different variants, single disc brake and double disc brake. It comes with a 149.2 cc engine producing 14.2 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 12.8 NM @ 6,500 rpm. It gets a 5-speed gearbox and comes with a 12.40 liter of fuel tank. Hero Hunk weighs 147 kg and has a seat height of 795 mm. The front disc brake measures 240 mm and the rear one comes out to be 220 mm in the double disc variant. The Hunk comes with a price tag of INR 69,725-72,825.

The Yamaha R15 does not have an option of pillion grab rails. The bike does not have any space or socket near to the seat of the pillion. Yamaha R15 is the best bike...

Bajaj pulsar 220f is able to compete with the two. In terms of performance, PRICE, and fuel eficiency.. However, the looks of the 220f is outdated but the power is unquestionable. Bold. Direct to the point statement.

Easy to mentain and not very complicated components makes it easy to add more horsepower to it. The CBR150r has the best quality in terms of handling, engine, and looks compared to the outdated design of the 220f.

Everything is nicely engineered but the Price tag makes it limited only to the rich kids. And it Sucks Gas BIG TIME! The R15 has the best looks! The engine's technology is unmatched and the price is just between the cbr and 220f.

The fuel economy is also fair with its power output. In all these three great bikes, the CBR goes down to number 3 in my list due to its price and low gas milage and the horsepower was lowered at the last version 2015. The number 2 will be the pulsar 220f due to its many patented technologies, cheap price, and high gas mileage.

Downside is only the looks which can easily be modified to look better. The r15 being between the two in terms of all characteristics is my number 1 pick.
