The Yamaha R15 is available in both old as well as new variant. The older one has been named R15-S while it actually is visually older and technically the same as the new R15 version 2.0. The bike uses a single long seat instead of the divided unit on the version 2.0, thereby providing a better ride experience to the pillion rider. The engine powering the same is a 149 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected unit producing 16.36 BHP and 15 Nm of torque. It costs INR 1,15,241.
