Does the Scorpio Classic deserve its price tag?
27 December 2024 09:51
Guys, you’re missing the point of the Scorpio. It's designed to coddle you, not to last. After years of abuse, those hard plastics will still look good. If you want a fancy interior, buy a crossover that will fall apart in a few years.
Does the Scorpio Classic deserve its price tag?
27 December 2024 09:51
I actually like the interior. It’s not pretending to be something it’s not. It's functional, it's spacious and it fits the Scorpio character. Could it be better? Sure. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be though. I think it's honest, and that has value.
Is the Scorpio Classic still the classic in the age of modern crossovers?
27 December 2024 09:51
The Scorpio Classic is still very relevant. Not everyone wants a softroader that can’t handle a bit of rough stuff. Proper, tough SUVs still sell, especially away from big cities.
Is the Scorpio Classic still the classic in the age of modern crossovers?
27 December 2024 09:51
I don't think so. Better fuel economy, more features and easier to drive in the city are some of the advantages crossovers have over their predecessors. The Scorpio feels old-fashioned by comparison. If you had a choice between flip phone and a smartphone, it's similar to that.
Is the Scorpio Classic still the classic in the age of modern crossovers?
27 December 2024 09:51
It’s relevant, to a shrinking audience. The Scorpio is good for those people who want a rugged vehicle to work with or who live in places where roads are bad. A crossover makes more sense for the average urban buyer, however.
Is the Scorpio Classic still the classic in the age of modern crossovers?
27 December 2024 09:51
The Scorpio Classic is the more relevant than ever! It’s refreshing to see a real SUV with character when everyone is driving these cookie cutter crossovers. And what I love about it is it's not trying to be a car.
Is the Scorpio Classic still the classic in the age of modern crossovers?
27 December 2024 09:51
I think it’s a nice middle ground. It’s less hardcore than a hardcore off roader, but more capable than a crossover. The Scorpio Classic is ideal for people looking for a daily driver that can also take care of weekend adventures.
Is the Scorpio Classic's infotainment system a deal breaker?
27 December 2024 09:51
I really don't care if it's a deal breaker for me. It’s not the fanciest system out there by any means, but it works. I can still mirror my screen and play my music and use GPS. And I spend more time actually driving than I do fiddling with the screen.
Is the Scorpio Classic's infotainment system a deal breaker?
27 December 2024 09:51
Are you kidding? That infotainment system is a joke for the price they are charging. No Android Auto or Apple CarPlay in 2024? They’re like they’re stuck in the past. This half baked attempt at modern tech, I’d rather have a basic radio.
Is the Scorpio Classic's infotainment system a deal breaker?
27 December 2024 09:51
Well, I think it really depends on what you are using the Scorpio for. However, if that’s mainly for off roading or work purposes, the basic infotainment is fine. For daily commuters or families, it's a big miss. This aspect should have been put more effort by Mahindra.
Is the Scorpio Classic's infotainment system a deal breaker?
27 December 2024 09:51
I know it's not the top of the line, but c'mon, how many of us use all those fancy features in other cars? Rugged, practical is the Scorpio. If you want a rolling smartphone, go buy something else.
Is the Scorpio Classic's infotainment system a deal breaker?
27 December 2024 09:51
I'm torn on this. Yeah, it’s disappointing, on one hand. On the other, the Scorpio Classic is all about that old school charm. Is that basic infotainment system part of that, perhaps? But a software update with Android Auto wouldn’t hurt.
How does the Scorpio Classic fare as an offroader?
27 December 2024 09:51
I've taken the Scorpio Classic to some pretty rough roads and this thing can really handle 'em. It’s not as smooth as a luxury sedan, but that’s not what it’s for. And it feels solid, capable, exactly what I want in an SUV.
How does the Scorpio Classic fare as an offroader?
27 December 2024 09:51
I'm a little disappointed, I'm honest. With all the hype about improvements, I expected better from Mahindra. It’s really annoying at high speeds and is a bit unstable when you do quick lane changes. Not cool for a car at this price.
How does the Scorpio Classic fare as an offroader?
27 December 2024 09:51
It's a mixed bag for me. It's comfortable enough around town. On long highway drives, I start to notice that the shortcomings start to show, however. It’s not great, but it’s not terrible. Mahindra still has some work to do in this department, I think.
How does the Scorpio Classic fare as an offroader?
27 December 2024 09:51
You guys are completely missing the point. The Scorpio isn't pretending to be a plush ride — it's a real, honest to goodness, SUV. That slight roughness is part of its make up. But if you want something that glides over bumps, get a crossover.
How does the Scorpio Classic fare as an offroader?
27 December 2024 09:51
I actually like the ride. It's firm but not harsh. You feel connected to the road, and I like that better than a numb feeling you get in some modern SUVs. And it's better than the old Scorpio by miles, so Mahindra is surely going in the right direction.
Does the Marazzo's unique cooling system actually make any difference for the passengers?
27 December 2024 09:39
I’ve ridden in one during peak summer and it makes a difference. It doesn’t just blast from a few vents, the air is more evenly distributed. It was definitely more comfortable than other MPVs I’ve been in.
Does the Marazzo's unique cooling system actually make any difference for the passengers?
27 December 2024 09:39
Nothing revolutionary but it's okay. Yeah, it’s a bit more even, but you can get a good traditional AC system that will do the trick. It feels like Mahindra is a bit overselling it.
Does the Marazzo's unique cooling system actually make any difference for the passengers?

I always get stuck in the third row, so I appreciate it. Fight over vent direction or freeze/sweat depending on where you sit no more. It's subtle, but it works.
