You both have it easy. I'm up in Shimla, the Supro does OK on most winter days, but really struggles when we get heavy snow. The tires on more than one occasion have had to be put on chains, and the heater works overtime.

I've worked on these as a mechanic in a few different conditions. But they're pretty robust actually, they've just got their limits. The key is maintenance – change the fluids, check the tires, and you’ll be fine in most weather.

I've got my kids in one and get it pretty stuffy in there in the summer. But the AC works, and it’s just struggling with the number of kids. In extreme heat, I wonder if a bigger bus wouldn’t actually be more comfortable.
Does the Mahindra Supro Profit Truck live up to its name, profit?
27 December 2024 10:56
Absolutely! For over a year, I’ve been using the Supro Profit Truck Mini for my delivery business and it’s been a total game changer. It's insanely fuel efficient - I'm getting about 22-23 kmpl with a full load. Just that has reduced my fuel costs by nearly 30% over my old car.
Does the Mahindra Supro Profit Truck live up to its name, profit?

It’s good, but it’s not living up to the hype. Yeah, the mileage is good, but I’ve had some reliability issues that have hit my profits. After just 6 months the AC conked out and fixing it was a hassle. Also, the initial cost is a little steep compared to some of the competition.

It has been a mixed bag for me. I can carry more goods per trip, which definitely boosts profits, and the payload capacity is great. The maintenance costs have been higher than I’m comfortable with, though. Every few months, it seems like something or the other needs fixing.
Does the Mahindra Supro Profit Truck live up to its name, profit?

It really depends on your use case, I think. It's been fantastic for short distance, high frequency deliveries in the city. It’s compact and easy to get around in tight spaces, and it’s fuel efficient. I feel it’s a bit underpowered for longer highway runs.
Does the Mahindra Supro Profit Truck live up to its name, profit?

I've found the "profit" part to be because it's versatile. Customizable body options have been a godsend, and I use it for my catering business. Obviously, it’s helped my efficiency and profitability, but I was able to fit it out exactly how I needed it.
How does the Supro Truck do in hilly or mountainous terrain?
27 December 2024 10:56
Because I live in a hilly area I've been quite impressed with how the Supro deals with the terrain. Even when fully loaded it's got enough grunt to climb steep roads. The gearing is great for inclines and I don’t find myself straining the engine very often.
How does the Supro Truck do in hilly or mountainous terrain?
27 December 2024 10:56
It's okay, but not great. In really steep sections I find myself wishing a little more power (especially when carrying a full load). It's that the engine struggles a little bit, and I have to downshift more than I'd like.
How does the Supro Truck do in hilly or mountainous terrain?
27 December 2024 10:56
In the hilly areas, the Supro has been a pleasant surprise for me. The design is small and turns well for this winding mountain road. But it does feel a little stiff in rougher sections.
How does the Supro Truck do in hilly or mountainous terrain?
27 December 2024 10:56
I've had mixed experiences. It does fine on most hills but I’ve noticed the brakes heat up really quickly on long downhill stretches. I've had to be super careful and use engine braking more than I'd care to.
How does the Supro Truck do in hilly or mountainous terrain?
27 December 2024 10:56
Being a mountain driver, I found the Supro competent, but not exceptional. They do fine on moderate hills but on really steep grades you can feel it struggling, especially if you're near max payload.
How customizable is the Supro Profit Truck?
27 December 2024 10:56
The Supro has actually been pretty customizable. I’m a mobile pet grooming service and I was able to outfit the back with all my equipment — water tank, power hookups, etc. Mahindra has some pre designed options, but I worked with a local body builder to create it exactly how I wanted.
How customizable is the Supro Profit Truck?
27 December 2024 10:56
It's good, not as flexible as I'd like. I wanted to turn mine into a food truck, but there were not many options for power, so I couldn’t run all the equipment I needed. Unfortunately, I had to compromise a little on my original design.
How customizable is the Supro Profit Truck?
27 December 2024 10:56
The standard configuration is fine for my courier business, but I would love to have more official options for secure, weatherproof storage. Unfortunately, I had to improvise some solutions.
How customizable is the Supro Profit Truck?
27 December 2024 10:56
The customization options have been really impressive. Mine is used for a mobile library, and the flat, wide cargo area was ideal for installing bookshelves. With the payload capacity I can carry many books without overloading.
How customizable is the Supro Profit Truck?
27 December 2024 10:56
It's a mixed bag. The basic structure is good for customization in that it is easy to add things, but I found it was easy to get to the point where you are adding so many modifications that it starts to impact fuel efficiency and handling. It’s just something you have to watch not to go overboard on.
What is the comparison of the Supro Profit Truck technology features compared to its competitors?
27 December 2024 10:56
I’m honestly impressed with the tech in the Supro. Bluetooth connectivity for receiving and making calls on the go makes life easy, though the infotainment system is surprisingly good for a commercial vehicle. It is also nice to have a digital instrument cluster.
What is the comparison of the Supro Profit Truck technology features compared to its competitors?
27 December 2024 10:56
Nothing special, ok. There are the basic features, but I have used competitors with more advanced systems. I really wish that it had built in GPS navigation, it would make route planning so much easier for my delivery business.
