To be honest, most ADV bikes never ever hit dirt. If you’re looking for a practical car that can move around the city, and also take the occasional off road trip, then the AS250 is a good choice.

In terms of power and refinement the AS250 is definitely a step up. On highways, that extra 50cc really makes a difference.

AS250's suspension is a huge improvement. Much more comfortable on long rides and rough roads.

I just wish they kept the projector headlamps from the AS200. The AS250 LED doesn’t seem as effective.

The larger AS250 fuel tank is a game changer for touring. More fuel stops like on the AS200, no more.

It'll be a nightmare to maintain I think. Those extra bits are only going to lead to more things to break and replace.

The real issue is going to be parts availability. Finding specific ADV components down the line might be a pain if it doesn't sell well.

I bet it'll be fine. Most of it will probably be easy to service, as they will probably share the core engine and electronics with other Pulsars.

Especially if people actually take it off road, the suspension might need more attention. That’s true for any ADV bike, though.

Crash damage is what I'm more worried about. If you drop it, those plastic ADV fairings will be expensive to replace.

There could actually be a way better solution in the long run. They might not be as beefy as a standard commuter, but the beefier components might just make them better suited to Indian roads.

The styling is right on for the urban adventurer, I think. It’s rugged enough to turn heads, but not so extreme that it’ll scare off newbies.

For me, the deal breaker is the alloy wheels. You need spoked wheels for off road durability for a true ADV. It just looks like a poser bike.

That it's not trying too hard to be a mini-ADV is actually something I like about it. A lot of people who are intimated by full size adventure bikes, might find the mix of styles appealing.
