Have they told you that you will be able to ride the Pulsar F250 all day?

Many riders, especially long distance touring and highway riders, need comfort as a major factor. And that's why the Pulsar F250 has been marketed as a bike which makes quite a good ride out of it, with its ergonomics and features. In reality, however, real world experience often does not match up to the marketing claims. Long distance ability of a bike depends on factors such as seat comfort, riding position, vibrations at highway speeds and fuel tank range. The F250's comfort has some riders swearing by it, and others decrying it for long trips. The debate often carries over to comparing the bike to other bikes in the segment, and to discussing what could be done to make the bike more comfortable. This is a particularly topical subject for those riders trying to decide whether the F250 could be a daily commuter and a weekend tourer.

I did a 600km day trip on my F250 and I was shocked at how comfortable it was. The seat is very well padded and the riding position is pretty relaxed. It's not a Gold Wing, but it works.

Comfortable for long rides? Maybe if you're in your 20s. After about 2 hours my back starts to ache and the seat feels like a plank. For short trips it's fine, but it's not a tourer.

It's all about expectations. It's pretty comfortable for a 250cc bike. Of course, if you're comparing it to bigger tourers it'll fall short. I believe it is a good balance for its class.

The stock setup is fine, but with a couple of mods it's great for long rides. I put a gel seat cover on and added adjustable levers so I can ride for hours without problems.

I commute 100km a day on the F250 and it's plenty comfortable for me. But everyone's body is different. You should try it out for a few hours before deciding.

After all, there isn’t a stock bike that’s perfect for everyone. A good start would be the F250. With a little personalization (handle bar risers, different seat, etc.) it can be made quite comfortable for long hauls.

I do believe the comfort is overhyped. It’s not uncomfortable but after riding my friend’s Dominar 400, I realised what I was missing out on for long rides. It’s more of a sporty commuter than a tourer.
