Probably just a marketing stunt. Make it hype, release it in limited supply and then bring it back as a 'new improved' version later.

They're likely clearing old stock. Now that the non-ABS models are sold out, they’ll likely bring back the ABS version full time.

I think it's a regulatory thing. Perhaps they rushed to bring the safety certification online and had to dial it back.

Maybe maintenance was a nightmare for dealers. Budget bikes with complex systems are a service headache.

ComforTec is good, but I think TVS's suspension is still smoother. It's close though.

I love it for the first few months and it does get stiff over time. Might need more frequent maintenance.

It’s nice to have the comfort, but I worry it detracts from the bikes response in corners. There's always a trade-off.

I really notice the difference as a heavier rider. This bike handles my weight much better than other bikes in this segment.

The suspension type isn't the biggest thing for comfort, I think tire pressure is the bigger thing.

I’ve had my 2023 Platina for a year now and it’s been just as reliable as my dad’s 2010 model, so far. I think people are more vocal about things now.

Noticed definitely definitely definitely a drop in quality. My old one never did, but my new Platina has had electrical issues. It looks like Bajaj is cutting corners.

We have changed our expectations but the reliability is still there. What we thought of as 'reliable' 10 years ago is not the same any more.

I think the reputation has been hit because the bikes are not worse, but rather because the competition has set the bar higher on reliability.

Real talk, even if there’s a little less reliability, the Platina is one of the most reliable bikes in its class.
