Tuesday, 08 October 2024 11:23 AM Renault has unveiled the Twingo E-Tech Electric prototype at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, marking a significant step towards its planned production in 2026. The new Twingo will be exclusively electric, with a price tag below €20,000, making it one of the most affordable EVs in Europe. The design blends the past and present, with a monovolume silhouette and a fixed glass roof. I think this blend of old and new will really appeal to both nostalgic and modern buyers.
Tuesday, 08 October 2024 01:53 PM The new Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric will utilize an adapted version of the AmpR Small platform, similar to the Renault 5 and Renault 4 E-Tech Electric. This platform will help reduce production time and costs, with the goal of assembling the car in much less than 10 hours. This efficiency could make Renault highly competitive in the European EV market. I believe this strategic move will be a game-changer for Renault.
Tuesday, 08 October 2024 10:47 AM Renault has partnered with a Chinese component supplier to speed up the development of the new Twingo, aiming to go from concept to production in just two years. This collaboration is part of Renaults strategy to match the speed and efficiency of Chinese OEMs. The production will, however, remain in Europe. I think this partnership is a smart move to stay competitive.
Tuesday, 08 October 2024 09:38 AM The new Twingo E-Tech Electric features a compact design, measuring 3.75 meters in length and 1.73 meters in width, making it ideal for city driving. It includes a 40 kWh battery and is designed to be highly efficient, with CO2 emissions around 75% lower than the average European ICE car. This efficiency is a big plus for urban drivers.
Tuesday, 08 October 2024 12:35 AM Renaults CEO, Luca De Meo, has confirmed that the new Twingo will be a fit-for-purpose urban vehicle with no compromises, promising efficiency figures of around 10kWh/100km. The car will sit below the Renault 5 in the companys EV lineup and is part of Renaults broader electrification strategy. I think this focus on urban mobility is spot on.
Tuesday, 08 October 2024 04:53 PM The new Twingo E-Tech Electric prototype retains the spirit of the original Twingo, which debuted in 1992, with vibrant colors and a joyful vibe. The design includes bright LED eyes and a slight upward smile on the front bumper, giving it a cheerful disposition. This nostalgic touch could attract a lot of fans.
Tuesday, 08 October 2024 03:41 PM Renaults Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia is set to produce the new Twingo E-Tech Electric starting in 2026. The company has an agreement with the Slovenian government to use this plant, ensuring European production despite the collaboration with a Chinese partner. This local production will help keep costs down.
Monday, 30 September 2024 04:28 PM The new Twingo E-Tech Electric will have a significant proportion of components in common with the Renault 5, around 70%, which will help in reducing production time and costs. This shared architecture includes the entire front end and a rigid axle at the rear. I believe this shared platform strategy is very efficient.
Wednesday, 15 November 2023 05:06 AM Renault held a low-key private debut for the new Twingo E-Tech prototype in November 2023, but the public will get its first official look at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. This early reveal suggests Renault is eager to generate buzz around its new electric model. I think this early tease will build a lot of anticipation.
Wednesday, 15 November 2023 10:58 AM The original Twingo Z.E. (E-Tech in some markets), launched in 2020, had an 82-hp electric motor and a 22-kWh battery pack, offering a range of 125 miles in Eco mode. The new Twingo E-Tech Electric is expected to offer improved specs and a lower price point, starting below €20,000. This upgrade will make it even more appealing to budget-conscious buyers.

What is the release date of Renault Twingo in India?
29 December 2022 05:38
Renault has officially not described the Twingo in its Indian launch list as a 800 cc car is expected to launch, which will rival the most selling Maruti Alto in India. The Twingo is in its 3rd generation now and features a 5 door hatchback structure. The engine is rear mounted and counts up to 1197 cc. If it arrives, it will be competing with Datsun GO, Alto K10 and Hyundai's Eon.

New Twingo seems totally different. Renault can bring this car to India. A much needed car for Indians. Just raise the ground clearance, work done. Expecting climate control for top-end model. It will be a good Value for Money car even at 6 lakhs for the top-end model.

This RWD model is required more in India. The low turning radius and mileage are the advantages of a rear engined car. Nano is just a starter for future cars. But they failed to develop from the chance they created. For Twingo its expected to get climate-control on the top end missing in Nano. It has the potential to become a segment leader. People know the quality of Renault. 4 to 6 lakhs are still good for Twingo. For more check the Twingo 5 door at Geneva motor show !!!!! Interested to buy. Please alert when launched.

well i had seen the 5 door twingo that I feel is perfect for Indian soil. give a good ground clearance & climate control the problem solved. If they do so it can challenge even Maruti Swift as well. Comfort, Clever and Compact.
