Renault is offering September 2026 benefits of up to ₹1.8 lakh on select Duster variants. It is the first reported benefit programme for the current model since launch, but buyers should look beyond the ceiling figure.
The maximum combines cash, exchange or scrappage and loyalty components. Eligibility varies by city, variant, inventory and customer profile, so not every buyer will receive every element.
Reported benefit components

Cash discount: up to ₹30,000.
Exchange or scrappage benefit: up to ₹50,000.
Renault-owner loyalty benefit: ₹10,000.
Older Duster owners: loyalty benefit reported up to ₹1 lakh.
The ₹1.8 lakh headline is therefore best understood as a maximum possible bundle for a qualifying customer rather than money automatically removed from every invoice.
Who is most likely to reach the maximum
Existing Duster owners appear to have the strongest path to the top figure because their reported loyalty benefit is substantially larger. A buyer without an eligible exchange, scrappage vehicle or loyalty qualification may receive a much smaller effective reduction.
Dealers can also apply offers differently according to stock age and variant availability. Finance-linked conditions, corporate or institutional schemes and insurance packages may affect the final quotation.
What to ask the dealer
Buyers should request a written component-by-component offer showing the ex-showroom price, cash discount, exchange valuation, scrappage amount, loyalty eligibility, insurance and accessories. Ask whether each benefit can be combined and whether the quoted vehicle is current model-year stock.
Comparing only the final discounted number can hide a weak exchange valuation or bundled products. A clean on-road-price comparison across dealers is more useful.
Bottom line
The September offer can materially improve the Duster's purchase economics for eligible customers, especially former Duster owners. The safe buying interpretation is “up to” ₹1.8 lakh, subject to local and stock-specific terms—not a universal discount.
