About
The Maruti Suzuki SX4 ZXi is a mid-size sedan that offers a blend of comfort, features, and reliability. It comes with a 1.6L petrol engine producing 103 bhp and 148 Nm of torque, paired with a manual transmission. The car features a touch screen navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, and a superior audio system, making it a well-equipped option in its segment. The SX4 boasts a high ground clearance of 180mm, which is beneficial for navigating Indian roads. The interior is spacious and comfortable, with well-contoured seats suitable for long drives. Although the SX4 has been discontinued in favor of the Ciaz, it remains a viable choice for those looking for a used car with a strong service network and reasonable maintenance costs.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Maruti Suzuki SX4 ZXi is a solid choice for those seeking a comfortable and feature-rich sedan, despite its relatively lower sales compared to other Maruti models. My experience with the SX4 has been overwhelmingly positive, with its fluid and manly driving feel, excellent ground clearance of 180mm, and superb audio system being major highlights. The cars interior is well-appointed, with comfortable and spacious seating, making it ideal for long drives. However, the fuel economy, particularly with the 1.6L petrol engine, is not its strongest suit. Nonetheless, the overall package, including the reliable after-sales service and reasonable maintenance costs, makes the SX4 ZXi a worthwhile consideration for buyers looking for a dependable sedan.
Price
The Maruti Suzuki SX4 ZXi was priced competitively in the Indian market, with ex-showroom prices ranging from approximately Rs. 7.98 lakh to Rs. 8.92 lakh, depending on the specific variant and features. On-road prices, including taxes, insurance, and other costs, would typically be around Rs. 10.5 lakh, as seen in the case of the top model with navigation and other premium features. This pricing makes the SX4 ZXi an attractive option for those seeking a mid-size sedan with a balance of features and affordability. However, its important to note that the SX4 has been discontinued, so these prices are more relevant for used car buyers.
Mileage
Thursday, 21 November 2024 12:15 PM
The mileage of the Maruti Suzuki SX4 ZXi is a mixed bag. The petrol variant, with its 1.6L engine, offers an ARAI-certified mileage of 16.51 kmpl, which is somewhat lower than some of its competitors. In real-world conditions, especially in heavy traffic, the mileage can drop to around 8-12 kmpl, while highway driving can yield up to 14 kmpl. For those prioritizing fuel efficiency, the diesel variant with a mileage of 21.79 kmpl might be a better option, but overall, the SX4s fuel economy is not its strongest aspect.

Making it look like manza
The honey-comb grill is the BEST for SX4!! This new grill is really bad. They are just trying to make it look classy by using some crome, but its NOT!! Its taking off the sporty look from this beautiful sedan. Back is definitly better in the new model!!
