A below average car
Recently, I purchased a DZIRE VXI after reading number of good reviews for this car, but I feel that most of the reviews are marketing gimmicks because nobody provide the car registration number. My purchase of DZIRE VXI is a great disappointment for me as it is a one of the worst car I had driven. The car is unable to move when I release clutch, it starts jerking every time. The need of acceleration to move the car is a great headache, especially to drive this car in bumper to bumper traffic. I reported this issue to Maruti but, they are telling me that it is normal because the initial rpm of these cars are low. If they increase the initial rpm, it will hamper the mileage. However, the mileage of the car with the current setting is not very great as I am getting only 12-13 km/l in-spite of that the 50% of my driving route is clean.

Maruti Dzire VXi is an impressive car
Car drives excellently and I did 780 km in first three days. It returned 19.8 kmpl on the highway However, there is prominent rattling when clutch pedal is pressed to shift gear from 1st to 2nd. I tried another car owned by one more owner along with technician from Maruti Sai Service Pune. We observed same problem in that car too. This was during my first free servicing at 1000 km. Owners can share their experience so that we can discuss this with Maruti.
Best Features: Everything other than this vibration during gear shift
Pros: Silent engine
Cons: Rattling sound from gearbox when clutch pedal is pressed to shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear.
Attractive and Reliable Sedan
Hi, It is my great experience to travel in this car. It is so well designed and also quite comfortable to seat. The interiors are well designed and pick up is also praiseworthy. It goes in a very high speed with smooth pickup. It is well suited to family and teenagers too. The mileage is approximately 15 to km/litre which is good for petrol version. It offers a smooth and comfortable ride with sufficient boot space for luggage and goodies. The compact sedan is visually more appealing as compared to its forerunner. It gets good mileage for long trips. It is very fuel efficient with mileage of 26 kmpl for diesel and around 20 for the petrol version. I am using the petrol version. The price range is also reasonable and Maruti also offers good after sales service too. Braking system is quite smooth and driving this beauty is really comfortable as it doesn't feel too heavy even for ladies. With good mileage, elegant interiors and comfortable space, it is a dream come true for the Indian consumer.

Poor Build Quality
Poor built quality but rich in looks, on speed above 120 kmph vehicle's braking performance is very poor . vehicle is lightweight to improve fuel efficiency. the sheet metal gauge used is very thin quality.

INDIGO ECS HAS BETTER MILEAGE AND COMFORT AND LOW PRICE
my vxi model is giving average of only 10 km/l in the city. so think many times before booking because it is not fuel efficient is clamming average of 19-20 on highway.
its maruti suzuki engines, go for it
i like this car but no airbag or alloy wheels in vxi manual and automatic variant is bad.maruti have to give atleast one airbag for this variant.

This is the WORLDS UGLIEST SEDAN, there are cancer moles that look better than the backside of this car..................don't worry about having an accident in this car because that might actually improve its looks
the fact that the dezire is the best selling sedan in india is testament to its being a capable product, but it is still very disappointing to see what maruti has done with its looks...............starting from a car that is honestly one of the most attractive and stylish cars ever to hit indian shores; the swift, maruti had the potential to make the dezire a seriously good looking car, but instead it looks like the proverbial ugly duckling...............lets hope maruti improves things next time round with the new swift sedan, hopefully giving the car the good looks it soo deserves.

I never seen such a shape of swift dezire. Its beauty at external side & less fuel consumption in sedan car had attracted me to buy a car 7. Finally I took it.
Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire is a highly reliable car. I am using it for the past 1 year and whether it is monsoon or summer or winter, whichever climate, Dzire is tackling all the problems like excessive heat, water clogged roads, the ground clearance is good, so I drive the car when every other car corners! Also, Dzire is Maruti product, so no worries for resale value too!!
My Dzire LXI is giving me 22kmpl mileage.

Maruti has always done a good job for entry level A3 segment. First esteem and now dzire. I am sure, a lot of effort has gone into packaging so many feature into a lower segment sedan.
