Our take on this /// Verdict
The Maruti Suzuki Alto CNG is a stellar choice for those seeking an affordable, fuel-efficient, and reliable vehicle in India. Its compact size and nimble handling make it ideal for city driving, navigating through tight traffic and narrow roads with ease. While the interior may be basic, it is functional and provides ample legroom, though the headroom could be better. The Alto CNGs strong suit lies in its excellent fuel efficiency and low running costs, making it a cost-effective daily commuter. However, its important to note that the safety features, though improved with the inclusion of airbags and ABS, still lag behind some of its competitors. Overall, the Alto CNG is a great option for budget-conscious buyers who prioritize fuel efficiency and affordability.

For instance, the Alto LXi CNG is priced at Rs. 5.29 lakhs (ex-showroom in Delhi), while the Alto K10 VXI S-CNG comes in at Rs. 5.96 lakhs (ex-showroom in Delhi). When calculating the on-road price, additional costs such as RTO, insurance, and other miscellaneous charges need to be considered. For the Alto K10 VXI S-CNG, the on-road price in New Delhi would be approximately Rs. 6.57 lakhs. These prices make the Alto CNG an attractive option for those looking for an economical vehicle without compromising too much on features.
