About
The Fiat Punto Petrol Active is a hatchback that stands out for its robust build and excellent ride quality. The car features a 1.4L naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 76 bhp and 83 lbft of torque, which is sufficient for city driving but lacks the punch needed for high-speed cruising. The interior is well-designed with good adjustability and comfortable seating, although the materials used are not of the highest quality. The Punto comes with several convenient features, including steering-mounted audio controls, the BLUEME system for Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB flash drive socket. The boot space is 275 liters, which is smaller than some rivals, but the 60-40 split folding rear seats provide additional versatility. Overall, the Punto Petrol Active offers a solid blend of comfort, safety, and value, making it a viable option for those seeking a reliable and affordable hatchback.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Fiat Punto Petrol Active is a mixed bag when it comes to overall performance and user experience. On the positive side, it boasts excellent ride quality, which is one of its standout features. The car handles curves with ease, even at higher speeds, making it a joy to drive on both city roads and highways. However, the petrol engine, particularly the 1.4L variant, feels underpowered compared to its diesel counterparts and some of its competitors. The interior, while well-laid out and comfortable, suffers from cheap plastics and a lack of premium feel. Despite these drawbacks, the Punto offers good value for money, especially considering its safety features like the BLUEME system and steering-mounted controls. For those prioritizing ride comfort and a budget-friendly option, the Punto Petrol Active is worth considering, but it may not be the best choice for those seeking powerful performance or luxurious interiors.
Price
In India, the ex-showroom price for the Fiat Punto Petrol Active typically ranged between 5.5 lakh to 6.5 lakh, depending on the region and any additional features. When factoring in on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around 7 lakh to 8 lakh. This pricing makes the Punto Petrol Active a competitive option in the hatchback segment, offering a balance of features and performance at an affordable price. However, its important to note that prices can vary based on the state, local taxes, and any ongoing promotions or discounts.

Mileage
Thursday, 21 November 2024 03:58 AM
The mileage of the Fiat Punto Petrol Active is a crucial factor for potential buyers. According to user reviews and tests, the car typically delivers around 12-14 kmpl in city driving conditions and up to 16-18 kmpl on the highway. While these figures are respectable, they are not the best in the segment. For those concerned about running costs, the Puntos fuel economy is adequate but not exceptional, making it a mid-range choice in terms of mileage.

Fiat Punto Petrol Active Discussion
Been driving punto 1.2 petrol for 2 years now, a bit disappointed. Had initial problems with AC which was fixed after a few complaints, had problems with braking while in 2nd gear, which was eventually fixed. Mileage is nothing to scream about and finally, the less said about after sales service, the better. Though the car performs well now, it's been a frustrating experience with customer service and after sales service. Would not recommend it to anyone, unless you don't mind being treated as an Indica cab driver.
not very good car still it is cheap
