The Yamaha FZ25 has been discontinued in India due to the inability to meet the new OBD2 emission norms. Despite its moderate specs and affordable pricing, the bikes production has been halted for the past 6-7 months. I think this is a significant loss for those who preferred a rugged and durable motorcycle in the 250cc segment.

The FZ 25 variant continues in Racing Blue and Metallic Black colors, priced at Rs. 1,38,800 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The Yamaha FZ25 was launched in India on January 24, 2017, priced at Rs. 1,19,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It marked Yamahas entry into the quarter-litre segment and competed with bikes like the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200. I think the pricing was very competitive, making it an attractive option for many buyers.
