The Honda Activa 7G is expected to launch in India around April 2025, with an estimated price range of Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000. This new model will retain the reliable 110 cc engine, producing 7.79 PS of power and 8.84 Nm of torque, and is projected to deliver a mileage of 45-50 kmpl. The scooter is anticipated to feature upgrades such as a semi-digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, and possibly a disc brake up front along with an LED headlight. I think these updates will make the Activa 7G a strong contender in the Indian scooter market.

Honda has been working on enhancing the Activa series, and the Activa 7G is rumored to include advanced features like a digital screen, mobile connectivity, a USB charger, and LED lights. Additionally, it may come with push-button start, silent start, and bigger disc brakes along with alloy wheels. The mileage is expected to be around 55 to 60 km per liter of petrol. I believe these features will significantly improve the riding experience and appeal to a wider audience.

The design of the Honda Activa 7G is expected to be sharper and more aggressive to appeal to younger audiences. The scooter may also feature a hybrid setup and larger tires for improved high-speed stability and ride quality. Other expected features include a new digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB charging. I believe these design and feature upgrades will help the Activa 7G stay competitive in the market.

Honda is also planning to expand its dealership network with the new MG Select chain, which will include the sale of the Activa 7G. This move is part of Hondas strategy to strengthen its market presence and ensure better customer service. I think this expansion will be beneficial for both Honda and its customers, providing easier access to their products.

Despite earlier speculations about the Activa 7G, Honda surprised everyone by dropping the g suffix from the updated Activa model launched in mid-2023. Instead of the 7G, Honda might focus on incremental upgrades each year, labeling them as MY2023 Activa and so forth. This change suggests a shift in Hondas naming strategy for the Activa series. I think this approach could make the updates feel more continuous and less generation-based.
