The Olympic cauldron for the Paris 2024 Games has been designed to be entirely electric, marking a significant departure from traditional fuel-burning flames. This innovative design, created by Mathieu Lehanneur, uses 40 LED spotlights to illuminate a cloud of water vapor produced by 200 high-pressure misting nozzles. This setup is powered by 100% renewable electricity supplied by EDF. I think this is a great step towards sustainability in major events.

The Paris 2024 Olympic cauldron is not only electric but also airborne, carried by a hot air balloon each evening, paying homage to the Montgolfier brothers who pioneered hot air balloon flight in 1783. This unique design allows the cauldron to be raised 30 meters into the air, making it a visible beacon in the night sky. I believe this adds a magical touch to the games.

For the first time in Olympic history, the Paris 2024 cauldron will be lit without using fossil fuels. Instead, it relies on a combination of LED lights and water mist to create the flame effect. This innovation is part of Paris 2024s goal to be the greenest games ever, with EDF providing the necessary renewable energy. Its impressive to see such a commitment to sustainability.

The Paris 2024 Olympic cauldron is located in the Jardin des Tuileries and is accessible to the public through a free ticketing system. During the day, it remains on the ground, but in the evening, it is tethered and raised into the air, creating a spectacular sight. This design ensures that the cauldron is both visible and environmentally friendly.

The lighting of the Paris 2024 Olympic cauldron was performed by former French Olympians Marie-José Pérec and Teddy Riner during the opening ceremony. The cauldrons design is a tribute to French innovation and creativity, symbolizing the games motto Games Wide Open. Its a beautiful blend of tradition and modern technology.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are focusing heavily on reducing their carbon footprint, and the electric cauldron is just one part of this effort. The games will also rely on renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, and have purchased significant carbon credits to offset emissions. This is a commendable approach to making large events more sustainable.

You can contact the same source from where the scooter was bought as their is no hint about the official availablity of the part from a third part source. You can even get a fender from some other scooter and try fitting it on the Flamz if their is no availability of the original part.
