Yamaha Could Launch Nozza Grande 125 In India, Caught Testing

Yamaha is expecting to launch a new 125cc scooter in its two-wheeler line up. As the Nozza Grande, a 125cc scooter by the company was caught testing on the roads of Chennai. Nozza Grande was launched in Vietnam first and is already selling there. But, it is expected to be launched in India with diffrent name. Till now, it is known by name of 04X. It seems that, Yamaha is planning unique name for this scooter to beat its rivals.  

Although, the company hasn't revealed any official detail about the launch. But, the new scooter made its presence felt in the country after riding on roads. Currently, the Yamaha Motor Vietnam is handling the manufacturing and sales of this 125cc scooter. According to spy pictures, 04X hosts a tweaked tail light cluster and LED pilot lamp.  

 Mechanically, Vietnam version of this scooter packs a 125cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine along with fuel injection. It is delivering fuel efficiency of 54Km/l on the Vietnam roads. Stopping power to the scooter is provided by drum braked at both end. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and spring loaded shock absorbers at the rear end. But, the Indian version might miss a fuel injection feature to make it reasonable price sccoter.  

 Moreover, if this scooter actualy make its way to the Indian market, it will directly give competition to already selling scooters like Piaggio Vespa, Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access. Let's see, When will Yamaha launch this scooter in India and How many tweaks it will receive.
