Royal Enfield Planning to Launch the Bullet 500 in India

According to a report Royal Enfield is planning to launch a new product in the market this year. This interesting launch could be the Royal Enfield Bullet 500. Which the Indian retro motorcycle maker builds for the export markets. Basically the Bullet 500 is an upper version of the Royal Enfield Std 350.

Royal Enfield has offered few extra features with 500cc model that includes front disc brake, fuel injection and more powerful 500cc single cylinder engine. Enfield 500 rides on 19” wheels, a single piece seat and comes with metal front & rear mudguards. Royal Enfield 500 is powered by a 500cc single cylinder unit. The fuel injected engine generates a peak power of 27.2bhp along with 41.3Nm of  peak torque. The engine is hooked with a 5-speed manual gearbox that drives the rear wheel through a chain drive. The new Royal Enfield 500 is expected to be launched before the second half of 2013 and could be the least priced 500cc motorcycle form Royal Enfield.
