Royal Enfield Officially Unveils Bullet 500 in India

World's oldest motorcycle brand Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the Bullet 500 in India on the web. Bullet 500 UCE is the first ever to get carburetted system instead of the fuel injection in Royal Enfield motorcycles. With the introduction of carburettor in place of the fuel injection, the Bullet 500's UCE engine will now outputs slightly lower power and torque figures than before. The new Bullet 500 houses a  499cc single cylinder, 4-stroke, twinspark, aircooled engine. This carburetted UCE engine generates max power of 26.5PS at 5100rpm and a peak torque of 40.9Nm at 3800rpm.

Bullet 500 still features the 5-speed manual gearbox and comes with kick as well as electric start options. Bullet 500's dimensions read as 2140mm in length, 810mm in width and 1110mm in height. The motorcycle weighs 193kgs and has a wheelbase of 1370mm & ground clearance of 135mm. Its 19” front wheels is equipped with 280mm disc brake while the rear 18” wheels houses 153mm drum brake. The Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is expected to go on sale pretty soon with price tag a tad cheaper than the fuel injected version of the Classic 500.
