Piaggio India Planning to Launch the Vespa 946 in June
Italian manufacturer, Piaggio is planning to launch the 'Vespa 946' in the Indian market. It is expected to be launched by June 2014. The price tag set for this scooter is Rs. 8-9 Lakhs which put this scooter in the most expensive scooters category. It would be imported straight from its home market to India. The direct importing is also the one of the reason of its higher cost. In Italy, it is priced at Rs. 6.82 lakhs which is 8.255 euros. It is also known as the highest priced scooter ever sold in the world.
Talking about the features, Vespa 946 comes with the stunning outlook which is able to attract buyers at first look. Under the hood, it has 125cc, four stroke single cylinder petrol engine which churns out the maximum power of 11.7bhp and maximum torque of 10.3NM. Moreover, it has an electronic fuel injection and disc brakes on both wheels, ABS and traction control.
Appealing design of the Vespa 946 will definitely attract the Indian customers. We hope, its price don't become hurdle in its sale.
