BMW and TVS to Share Technology
The two wheeler company TVS and two wheeler Bavarian Motor Works are working on setting up collaboration in form of partnership. This agreement would be finalized before the end of fiscal year 2012. However there is no concrete word from TVS yet but the company would definitely start local assembly and sales and distribution of BMW products in India.
While TVS will be helping out Bavarian Motors in local assembling of products, similarly to make sides equal BMW will be helping out TVS in developing high end bikes. In short, it will be assisting TVS in technological advancement. The upcoming 250cc bike from TVS will experience technological consideration from BMW engineers.
