The latest news on TVS Motors as announced on November 5, 2011 was about the demerger. It was told that after the demerger, the TVS Motor Company would invest in its new venture, which will be approved based on the law and government regulations. Furthermore, the TVS Company which has come to an understanding with the Mahabharat Motors will play the main role in the demerged company. The TVS Company will facilitate a stronger presence in the eastern regions.
TVS will be retaining its existing staff and workers of the Mahabharat Motors, and it expects to manufacture around thousand motorcycles per month. TVS Motors will also use this facility to provide service to North East and West Bengal markets. Presently, the company has three world class facilities within India, to manufacture two and three wheelers. Most of the motorcycles running at these places are of the TVS brand.
