KTM to Launch 390 Duke in India

KTM revealed the 390 Duke at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan. It comes with four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. It claims to produce 44 HP at 9500 RPM and 36 Nm at 7250 RPM. The weight of the bike while fully fuelled is 150 kgs. The frame of bike is similar to Duke 200. The seat has been lowered and tank holds more fuel than Duke 200. 390 Duke will come with some graphical changes. Other features that bike gets is safety feature of ABS.

Also, there is a radial 300 mm disc in front and 230 mm rear disc brake and use of tubeless radial tyres. The bike will be manufactured locally at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan facility in Pune and will be exported to several international markets including Europe. The bike will come out by March 2013 with a price of Rs. 2, 00,000/-.
