6 Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes

Royal Enfield has a variety of forthcoming bikes, as evidenced by the spy images that appear from time to time. And good news for you fanboys: the introduction of up to six new Royal Enfield motorcycles is on schedule! Let's quickly go over what these six motorcycles will be:

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber/ Shotgun 350

Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber

We got the Shotgun 650 earlier this year, but Royal Enfield is also developing a Shotgun on the popular J-series platform: a single-seat Classic 350, which will most likely be known as the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber. However, we would not be shocked if Royal Enfield referred to it as the Royal Enfield Shotgun 350. While there are speculations that it will be called the Goan Classic 350, we believe the Shotgun 350 is more appropriate. 'Goan Classic 350' makes more sense as a color scheme for the Classic 350, but more on that later.

The Shotgun 350 was last observed early this year, and it is our belief that it will be released in the middle of 2024. Priced at approximately Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom), the Jawa Perak and Jawa 42 Bobber are expected to be its competitors.

Royal Enfield Scram 440

Scram 440

Contrary to earlier rumors of a Scram 450, Royal Enfield is actually developing the Scram 440. This model is intended to bridge the gap between the new liquid-cooled 450cc platform and the older-gen 411 air-cooled platform. It’s poised to replace the current Royal Enfield Scram 411, providing a slight bump in displacement and potentially in performance. Anticipated to hit the market by mid-2024, the Scram 440 could be priced around Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against competitors like the Triumph Scrambler 400 X and Yezdi Scrambler.

Royal Enfield Hunter 450

?The upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 450, sometimes mistakenly referred to online as the Guerrilla 450, is likely to retain the "Hunter" moniker. Based on Royal Enfield's new 452cc liquid-cooled platform, the Hunter 450 is designed as a neo-retro roadster that incorporates the aesthetic of the Hunter 350 but with more power. Slated for a late 2024 release, the Hunter 450 is expected to be priced around Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a direct rival to bikes like the Triumph Speed 400 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401.

Royal Enfield Scrambler 650

Scrambler 650

The Scrambler 650 has been extensively tested and is anticipated to add a rugged, minimalistic option to Royal Enfield’s 650cc lineup. Known for its robust 648cc parallel-twin engine the Scrambler 650 is well-suited for both touring and off-road adventures. The expected price for the Scrambler 650 starts at Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it in competition with models like the Moto Morini Seiemmezzo 6 ½.

Classic 650

The Classic 650 is set to combine the nostalgic charm of the Classic 350 with the performance capabilities of a 650cc parallel-twin engine. Recently spotted during testing, the Classic 650 is anticipated to appeal to those who cherish the vintage look but desire more power. Expected to be priced around Rs 3.2 lakh (ex-showroom), the Classic 650 is poised to carve out its own niche in the market.

New Colour Schemes

New color schemes for Royal Enfield's 350cc lineup—which includes the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350—will probably be the last thing the company releases. For instance, the Goan Classic 350 might be a new Royal Enfield Classic 350 color scheme variation.

Launch Timeline

The introduction of these models is expected to commence with the Classic 650, followed by the Hunter 450, and subsequently the Scrambler 650. More specialized models like the Classic 350 Bobber and Scram 440 will follow, ensuring a steady stream of new options for motorcycle enthusiasts throughout 2024 and into 2025.

By releasing a new model every three months Royal Enfield shows that it is dedicated to staying ahead of the competition and meeting the varied needs of riders in India and beyond.
