Discussions and Questions Lotus

Is the Emeya too techy and luxurious for Lotus to achieve its own minimalist philosophy?
23 January 2025 11:49
The minimalism was never about cheapness, it was always about performance. It’s still true to Lotus if the tech makes it faster or handle better.
Is the Emeya's design language a Lotus, or is it just too generic?
23 January 2025 11:49
I think it's gorgeous. Futuristic, sleek, with a bit of Lotus flair still. There’s no way to expect it to look like an Elise, folks.
Can a luxury EV upstart like the Emeya compete with established luxury EV makers like Tesla and Porsche?
23 January 2025 11:49
Lotus is one of those companies that, if anyone can shake up the EV game, it is. Punching above their weight is something they’ve always done.
Will the Emeya be the thing that helps Lotus survive, or is it a last ditch effort to alienate core fans?
23 January 2025 11:49
It's a smart move. The Emeya will also be used to bring in cash to fund development of proper sports cars.
Is the Lotus Emeya still a car that simplifies, then adds lightness?
23 January 2025 11:49
I think they're trying to toe the line. Even though the Emeya is heavy, it's still a performance and handling focused car. Though, it’s just adapted to the modern era.
