Many consider TMAX to be the product that popularised the concept of maxi-scooters. New updates over the years improve the aesthetics, usability, and performance of TMAX.

Yamaha TMAX ticks all the right boxes in its current form but there is always room for tweaks. And Ortolani Customs worked on all those tweaks in this customization project. Titan's moniker justifies its hyper styling, unique features and best-in-class performance.

Ortolani Customs is a custom workshop based in Nice, France that specialises in mods. The french mods decided to take on this project as a challenge. The client desired a more dynamic look and feel for TMAX along with better performance. They met all these requirements by utilising both custom-made and aftermarket components.

Much of the plastic bodywork on the Yamaha TMAX Titan custom bike has been removed. In its place, the bike receives handcrafted aluminium panels. The smooth finish of the handmade bodywork demonstrates the enormous amount of effort gone into this project.

The front fascia might resemble Yamaha R1 but the rest of the mod is an original concept. Customised Yamaha TMAX has an exciting dual-tone theme of Porsche 911 GT3RS Green and Lotus Yellow accents.

The modified TMAX gets larger 17-inch Aprilia RSV4 wheels. These not only improve the bike's ride dynamics but also the street presence. The wheels were replaced, and the braking system was upgraded with ABS. A chain drive system replaces the stock belt drive system to support improved performance.

Significant updates include Rizoma Stealth mirrors that are both functional and aesthetic. The upgraded saddle has a custom-made unit from NMB Design.

Malossi and HP Corse components boost the output of over 50 horsepower compared to the stock unit's 47 hp. Its styling is influenced by Porsche and Lotus. It keeps all the stock functions in the completely redesigned dashboard. DEV'MOTO, based in Marseille, created the custom-made TFT dash.
