Our take on this /// Verdict
The Fiat Punto Evo Emotion petrol variant is a mixed bag when it comes to overall performance and features. On the positive side, it boasts a sturdy build quality, excellent handling, and superb stability on highways. The steering feedback is among the best in its segment, and the suspension is commendable, making it a joy to drive on long distances. However, the petrol engine, while rev-happy, lacks the initial punch and can feel heavy and less peppy in city driving compared to its competitors. The gearbox, though well-defined, has a rubbery feel that may not appeal to everyone. Despite these drawbacks, the Punto Evo Emotions stylish interiors, ambient lighting, and robust safety features like ABS with EBD and dual front airbags make it a solid choice for those prioritizing build quality and driving dynamics.
Price
The Fiat Punto Evo Emotion petrol variant, although discontinued, was priced between Rs. 5.36 lakh to Rs. 6.04 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) during its time in the market. On-road prices would have varied depending on the state and local taxes, but you could expect an additional Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000 over the ex-showroom price. Given its discontinuation, any remaining stock would likely be BS4 models, and prices might be negotiable. However, the value for money lies in its robust build, premium features, and excellent driving experience, making it a worthwhile consideration if you can find a good deal on a used model.
