MG might surprise us. They've been pretty good with their tech so far. They could have something hybrid to increase efficiency.

It may not be super efficient, but it'll probably be better than old SUVs like Fortuner. Modern engines have come a long way.

No, they'll get along just fine. Fortuner and Innova are both sell well for Toyota, it's like that. For different needs, different sizes.

I think that MG is shooting themselves in the foot here. Instead of bringing in a new model, they should have concentrated on improving the Gloster.

You’re all forgetting about pricing. The Gloster will still have its place in the lineup if the Majestor is significantly more expensive.

It’s not about cannibalizing sales, it’s about providing customers with more options. There will be some people who will want the biggest SUV possible and others who will want the slightly smaller Gloster.
