It’s part of the Chetak experience but you may not need the tilt. I do it for nostalgia's sake.

Tilting a 4 stroke is just a waste of time. It's like trying to use a smartphone to use a rotary phone.
Is the Chetak 3502 TecPac's steel body more durable than that of its competitors, or is it just heavier?
14 January 2025 10:41
I like the huge plus of the steel body. I don't feel like I'm going to smash it against the ground, or that if it does it will be more damage than a minor scrape or a fall.
Is the Chetak 3502 TecPac's steel body more durable than that of its competitors, or is it just heavier?

I don't think that weight is necessary. All EVs should be about efficiency, and dragging extra steel around doesn’t help with that.

It’s nice to have the durability, but I worry about rusting in the long term. This could be a concern, especially in coastal areas.

I like the steel body. It makes the scooter feel more premium than the plasticky look of some competitors.

For most users, it’s probably overkill. How many people are actually pushing their scooters through situations where a steel body is needed?

Hey Nige, if you added your weight it might actually help with stability, particularly at higher speeds. That could be a good thing for safety.

I worry about repairing costs. The steel body dents easily and probably cost more to fix than replacing a plastic panel.
The under seat storage on the Chetak 3502 TecPac is a 35L which begs the question: Is that much storage on a scooter practical or excessive?
14 January 2025 10:41
35L is awesome! It is easy to fit my helmet, laptop and groceries. It's like a trunk on a scooter.
The under seat storage on the Chetak 3502 TecPac is a 35L which begs the question: Is that much storage on a scooter practical or excessive?
14 January 2025 10:41
It seems excessive. I don’t need that much space on a scooter that often. I would prefer a smaller storage and a bigger battery.

For sure practical, but I wonder if this makes the scooter look bulkier than it needs to be?

I think it's nice to have, but if I were to leave something valuable in there, I'd be scared I forgot about it.
