I honestly find the app more trouble than it's worth. The updates are delayed and it keeps losing connection to my Chetak. Now I just use the physical key.

It's a mixed bag. It's cool to know the ride statistics, and I like being able to find my scooter. The app is a bit glitchy though, but it drains my phone battery like crazy.

I’m not too tech savvy so I was nervous about the app. In actuality, it’s pretty user friendly. I had to get used to it a bit, but I use it all the time now.

I wish this app had more features, but it’s okay. It feels a bit basic compared to some other EV apps I’ve seen. Future updates could definitely improve Bajaj.
What is the experience of maintenance and service of Chetak 2903 compared to other scooters?
14 January 2025 11:03
I have had a breeze maintenance experience so far. There are no oil changes, no filter replacements – it’s all so much simpler than my old petrol scooter. And the software updates are easy to do at home, as well.

I've had mixed experiences. Check ups are quick and easy, but when I had an electrical issue it took forever to diagnose. It seems that some service centers are still catching up with EV tech.
What is the experience of maintenance and service of Chetak 2903 compared to other scooters?

Great lack of regular maintenance, but I’m worried about long term costs. You also don't really have to think about battery replacement down the line, which isn't going to be cheap, and you don't really have to think about that with petrol scooters.
What is the experience of maintenance and service of Chetak 2903 compared to other scooters?
14 January 2025 11:03
I like not having to go through the service center every couple of months for an oil change. However, when I did need service, I had to travel quite a bit to find a Chetak authorized center. They need to expand their network.

14 January 2025 11:03
It's definitely simpler maintenance, but I've had some software glitches that were a pain to clear up. It’s a different kind of a hassle than the traditional scooters – less often, but more involved when things go wrong.
Is the Bajaj Chetak 2903 all the hype it’s making?
14 January 2025 11:03
Absolutely! The Chetak 2903 has been a game changer for me for a few months now. It’s top notch build quality and feels like a premium product. Yes, it's more expensive than some other options but you do get what you pay for.
Is the Bajaj Chetak 2903 all the hype it’s making?
14 January 2025 11:03
Eh, I'm not so sure. I rode one for test and was unimpressed with the range. It wasn't worth the price I paid for the performance I received. And the charging time is a little long for my taste.
Is the Bajaj Chetak 2903 all the hype it’s making?
14 January 2025 11:03
It's a mixed bag, honestly. It is super comfortable to ride and the design is gorgeous. I’ve heard some concerns about long term battery life. You might want to wait for real world data before jumping in.
Is the Bajaj Chetak 2903 all the hype it’s making?

To me, it’s kind of a matter of which you need. It's great if you're willing to pay a premium for a stylish, comfortable city commuter. If you want something for longer rides or you’re on a tight budget, there may be better options out there.
Is the Bajaj Chetak 2903 all the hype it’s making?
14 January 2025 11:03
It’s real hype, but maybe a bit too much hype. Bajaj has some kinks to work out, but it’s a solid scooter. Things have improved with the recent software updates. After another year, it'll probably be the best in its class.
How far can you really drive on the Chetak 2903 versus what’s advertised?
14 January 2025 11:03
I’ve been getting around 80 – 85% of the advertised range consistently in my experience. They claim 95 km, not bad but not hitting that full amount.

How you ride really depends on it. Eco mode will get you pretty close to the advertised range if you’re gentle with the throttle. Who rides like that all the time?
How far can you really drive on the Chetak 2903 versus what’s advertised?
14 January 2025 11:03
The range is pretty disappointing I've found. In city traffic with lots of stops and starts I'm lucky to get 70km per full charge. It didn’t live up to the hype, that’s for sure.

14 January 2025 11:03
For my needs the range is fine. I consistently get about 85-90 km which will cover my daily commute and more. You just have to remember to charge it every couple of days.
How far can you really drive on the Chetak 2903 versus what’s advertised?
14 January 2025 11:03
Bajaj should be more transparent in how they calculate range, I think. I get nowhere near the real world experience that they advertise, particularly in the summer when using the cooling features.
The Bajaj Chetak 3501's app connectivity: is it a useful feature, or just another gadget to worry about?
14 January 2025 10:58
Love the app! It’s super handy to be able to check battery status and plan routes. It’s like a smart assistant for your scooter.
