Design & Style

The new design on the XC90 has completely refreshed its old look and the front has changed from a dull part to the most amazing part of the car. The grill looks perfect on the new XC90, with its LED lights making it the best looking headlight in a luxury SUV. Chrome has been used wisely all over and the higher variant named 'Inscription' has a lot more to offer than the normal version.

Engine & Performance

The 2.0 liter twin turbo, 4-cylinder diesel engine delivers 225 BHP and 470 NM. It is mated to a super smooth 8-speed automatic gearbox, with a variety of driving modes for every terrain. The car supports a full time AWD (All Wheel Drive) and the new engine is said to be more powerful and responsive. The performance in a Volvo has been made in such a way that it reduces the harm to the environment, showing its sustainable approach.

Comfort & Convenience

The new XC90 is full of comfort everywhere. The car is very spacious, with special Nappa leather seats for a premium feel. The seats are heated and the driver seat gets electronic adjustments. Fully automatic temperature control system maintains a good climate inside, with an AC vent for each row. Sunroof has been provided for a much pleasant ride. Nearly every comfort feature has been provided in the luxury SUV with the upper trim having much more elegance and style added to it. The interior air quality check system blocks unpleasant odours and carbon filter blocks harmful gases into the vehicle.

Braking on the Volvo cars has been always kept up to the best possible as the SUV comes with disc brakes for all the wheels with technologies like auto braking in case of arriving pedestrians and cyclists. The XC90 comes with fully loaded safety features. From the braking point of view, the SUV gets ABS and EBD as standard. It also gets 8 airbags and not just that, it comes with traction control and brake assist. Volvo has claimed that its cars would be safe enough that no death occurs by 2020. The seat belts in a Volvo XC90 automatically adjust to the height of the person. Loads of other small safety features have been added to the new variant. Technologies like adaptive cruising, 360 degree camera, active high beam and collision warning have been used on the new luxury SUV's.
