The Toyota Innova Hycross, even in its non-hybrid variants like the VX, presents a mixed bag of experiences. On the positive side, it offers excellent comfort and space across all three rows of seats, along with a generous boot space. The transition to a monocoque chassis has made it more car-like to drive, especially within city limits. However, the interior plastic quality is a significant letdown, feeling scratchy and low-rent for a vehicle in this price segment. The absence of certain features like rain-sensing wipers, electrically adjustable co-driver seat, and ambient lighting also feels like a miss.
