About
The Tata Nano CX Metallic is a compact city car designed to maximize space and efficiency. It features a 624cc, 2-cylinder engine producing 35 PS of power and 51 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car is known for its peppy performance from 0-60 kmph and its ease of maneuverability in tight traffic. The CX variant comes with air conditioning, half wheel caps, and a rich black interior, which adds a touch of sophistication. Despite its small size, the Nano offers surprising headroom and legroom, making it comfortable for front-seat passengers. However, rear-seat comfort is somewhat compromised due to the rear engine placement. The car also lacks storage space, but its overall package of fuel efficiency, affordability, and ease of driving makes it a compelling choice for city commuters.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Nano CX Metallic is a significant improvement over its predecessors, especially in terms of interior comfort and aesthetic appeal. The 2012 updates brought a fresh look with new color options, including the Neon Rush shade, which adds a vibrant touch. The interiors, particularly in the CX variant, feature rich black dashboards and a combination of black fabric and vinyl, enhancing the overall feel. However, the lack of storage space and the absence of a glove box remain notable drawbacks. Despite these, the Nano CX is a fun-to-drive car, especially in tight city traffic, thanks to its lightweight and easy maneuverability. It offers good value for money, but the quality of plastics and the flimsy doors are areas that still need attention.
Price
The Tata Nano CX Metallic was priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for the CX variant was around 1.90 lakhs in Mumbai, which translates to an on-road price of approximately 2.20 lakhs, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes the Nano CX an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers looking for a reliable city car. The cost-effectiveness is further enhanced by the inclusion of features like air conditioning, half wheel caps, and body-colored bumpers, which were previously reserved for higher variants. However, the prices may vary slightly based on the region and any additional features or accessories chosen.

The Tata Nano CX Metallic boasts impressive fuel efficiency, making it a great choice for those concerned about running costs. With an ARAI-certified mileage of 23.1 kmpl, it was one of the most fuel-efficient cars in India at the time of its release. This high mileage, combined with its compact size and lightweight design, ensures that the Nano CX is economical to run, especially in urban environments where frequent stops and starts are common.

Tata Nano CX Metallic Discussion
The battery of the Nano is under the driver's seat which is very bad as batteries do eliminate fumes and should have to be always outside not in the cabin.. When u have the Ac on, it will Recirculate the battery fumes which is not good for health of adult and children. Nano is unhealthy for us to breath in..
