Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Nano CX CNG is a significant offering in the Indian market, particularly for those seeking a fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicle. This bi-fuel car can run on both compressed natural gas (CNG) and gasoline, making it a versatile option. While the Nano has faced challenges in terms of sales and perception, the CNG emax variant brings a compelling value proposition with its exceptional fuel efficiency and lower emissions. However, the limited availability of CNG refueling infrastructure in certain regions could be a deterrent for some buyers. Overall, its a solid choice for daily commuters looking to minimize their fuel costs and ecological footprint.
Price
The Tata Nano CX CNG is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this variant is around Rs. 2.40 lakh, which is very attractive for a car that offers the dual benefits of CNG and gasoline fuel options. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other taxes, the price can go up to around Rs. 2.80 lakh to Rs. 3.00 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes the Nano CX CNG an affordable option for budget-conscious buyers who are also looking for a fuel-efficient vehicle.
