Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Indica Vista Diesel Aura (2010) is a practical and value-for-money hatchback that stood out in its time for its comfort, space, and fuel efficiency. While it may not be the most flamboyant in design, its functional approach makes it a reliable choice. The car offers smooth acceleration, a light clutch, and a smooth-shifting gearbox, although the diesel engine could benefit from better refinement to reduce noise. The interior is well-appointed with features like steering-mounted controls, a decent-sized glove box, and comfortable seating. However, some users might find the front door pockets small and the lack of certain modern amenities like push-button start and keyless entry a bit dated. Overall, its a solid choice for those prioritizing comfort, space, and fuel economy.
Price
The Tata Indica Vista Diesel Aura (2010) was priced between 3.53 lakh and 6.83 lakh ex-showroom in India, depending on the variant. On-road prices would have varied based on the state and local taxes, but you could expect an additional 50,000 to 1 lakh on top of the ex-showroom price. Given its features and performance, the Vista offered good value for money at the time of its release. However, since the model has been discontinued, any current pricing would be relevant only in the used car market, where prices can vary widely based on the cars condition, mileage, and location.
