The Tata Hexa XTA Downtown Indulge retains the same 2.2-litre Varicor diesel engine, available in two states of tune, but it does not receive any mechanical updates. The engine produces 156 PS and 400 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. I think this engine performance is robust enough to handle various driving conditions.

The Tata Hexa XTA Downtown Indulge also includes several convenience features such as wireless smartphone charging, side steps, and a car care kit. The interior is further enhanced with premium tan seat covers and a new carpet set. I believe these additions make the Hexa more practical and comfortable for daily use.

The pricing for the Tata Hexa Downtown Urban Edition, including the XTA trim, was not announced at the time of its unveiling but was expected to be competitive, starting around Rs. 11.72 lakhs for the base model. I think the value-for-money proposition of the Hexa, especially with these new features, makes it a strong contender in the SUV market.
