USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Mahindra Scorpio N is a formidable contender in the SUV segment, offering a blend of power, comfort, and practicality that is hard to ignore. From my experience, the Scorpio N stands out with its refined and potent engine options, whether you opt for the petrol or diesel variant. The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, in particular, is a highlight, delivering strong low and mid-range grunt that makes it a joy to drive both in the city and on highways. The vehicles commanding driving position, light steering, and excellent frontal visibility add to its ease of use, even in congested urban areas. While there are some minor drawbacks, such as the limited space in the third row and the slightly notchy manual gearbox, the overall package is well-rounded and compelling. The Scorpio Ns solid build quality, enhanced safety features, and 5-star Global NCAP rating further solidify its position as a top choice in its segment.
Price
In India, the Mahindra Scorpio N is priced competitively, with the ex-showroom prices ranging from approximately 11.99 lakh for the base Z2 petrol variant to 23.90 lakh for the top-of-the-line Z8L diesel 4x4 variant. On-road prices, however, can vary significantly depending on the state and local taxes, but you can expect to pay around 14-30 lakh, inclusive of all costs. For instance, in Delhi, the on-road price for the Z8 Select petrol manual could be around 17-18 lakh, while the diesel automatic could be closer to 22-23 lakh. Given the features, performance, and build quality, the Scorpio N offers good value for money, especially in the mid-trim levels like the Z8 Select.
Mileage
Friday, 22 November 2024 03:33 AM When it comes to mileage, the Mahindra Scorpio Ns performance varies between the petrol and diesel variants. The petrol automatic version typically offers around 6-7 kmpl in city driving and 11-14 kmpl on highways, while the manual petrol version might give you slightly better figures, around 7-8 kmpl in mixed driving conditions. The diesel variants are generally more fuel-efficient, with city mileage around 10-12 kmpl and highway mileage up to 15 kmpl. These figures make the diesel option more economical for frequent users, but the petrol variants still offer a satisfying driving experience despite the slightly higher running costs.

This car was designed for rough terrains and using it in paved roads is an abuse. It's fuel consumption is just unique it ranges around 13km/l & as long as it gets its services you're good to go.

Best Features: Its power is just unique and it has a good offroad performance.

Pros: Its fuel consumption, power & reliability is super

Cons: Safety standards are poor
