It came with a 2523cc powerful 4 stroke engine which gave a maximum power of 63 HP @ 3200 rpm and a maximum torque of 176.5 Nm @ 1500 rpm. The last model was sold in 2009 and was pulled out of market thereafter. It was priced at a ex-showroom price of 5,10,000. Mahindra Major is very fine jeep. I have one in running condition that is good to go anywhere.
