USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hyundai i10 1.1 (2009) is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and comfortable city car. While it may not be the most feature-rich option in its segment, it compensates with its robust build quality, pleasant interiors, and a refined 1.1-litre petrol engine. The cars handling and ride comfort are notable, especially on highways, although city driving can be a bit less enjoyable due to the slightly firmer ride. However, the absence of safety features like ABS and airbags in lower variants is a significant drawback. Overall, the i10 1.1 is a good option for families and city drivers who prioritize durability and a comfortable driving experience.
Price
When the Hyundai i10 1.1 was available in the Indian market, the ex-showroom price for the base variant, the 1.1 D-Lite, was around INR 3.79 lakh. The on-road price, including taxes and other costs, would have been approximately INR 4.2 lakh to INR 4.5 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. Given its discontinuation, these prices are now relevant only for those considering a used car purchase. In the used car market, prices can vary widely based on the cars condition, mileage, and location, but you can expect to pay between INR 1.5 lakh to INR 3 lakh for a well-maintained 2009 model.

This move was a significant upgrade for the i10.

Good Car For Small Family

I am using it for more than 10 years. It's very handy especially in city traffic and narrow roads. Gear lever positioned near to steering making gear shift easy. Even though maintenance free, I have to change silencers after 4-5 years, stabiliser bar broken after 5000 kms. It's a good car if you are not much worried about mileage. On highways 15-16 kmpl, city traffic 10-12 kmpl

Best Features: Stronger Body, Nice Interiors

Pros: Drivability, good looking, better interiors, comfort, better accessibility to gear lever

Cons: Poor milage, lower pick up
