Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda City Diesel V is a compelling choice for those seeking a reliable, feature-rich, and comfortable sedan. My experience with this vehicle has been overwhelmingly positive, thanks to its potent 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine, which delivers 98bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The engines linear performance and tractability make it ideal for both city commutes and long-distance drives. The handling and steering are spot on, and the rear seats are among the best in the segment, offering ample comfort and space. While there are minor drawbacks such as higher NVH levels and a slightly stiff suspension, these do not detract from the overall driving experience. The cars reliability, ease of maintenance, and impressive fuel efficiency make it a solid option for those looking for a dependable sedan.
Price
In India, the Honda City Diesel V is priced competitively in its segment. The ex-showroom price for the Honda City Diesel V typically ranges between 12 lakh to 15 lakh, depending on the specific trim and features. When you factor in on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other taxes, the price can go up to around 16 lakh to 19 lakh. This pricing makes the Honda City Diesel V an attractive option, considering its robust engine, spacious cabin, and array of modern features. The value-for-money proposition is strong, especially when compared to other sedans in the same category.

The Honda City Diesel V is known for its impressive fuel efficiency, making it a great choice for those concerned about running costs. In real-world conditions, this sedan can deliver mileage of around 20-24 kmpl, depending on driving conditions. On highways, it can achieve up to 24.1 kmpl as per Hondas claims, while city driving typically yields around 18-20 kmpl. This frugal nature of the diesel engine, combined with its powerful performance, makes the Honda City Diesel V an excellent option for both daily commutes and long trips.

Honda city diesel version is worst car in this segment . Always create problems and too much noisy cabin . Car's finishing is not up to the standard. I have bought this car in Feb. 2015 .
Best Features: AC Control panel
