Volkswagen Vento Diesel Trendline

About

USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Volkswagen Vento Diesel Trendline is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and performance-oriented sedan. While it may lack some of the features found in higher variants, it compensates with its robust engine and smooth gearbox combination. The Ventos build quality is exemplary, reflecting the typical German engineering standards. However, the Trendline variant is quite basic, missing out on amenities like alloys, advanced infotainment systems, and certain safety features. Despite these omissions, the Ventos comfort, performance, and overall driving experience make it a competitive option in its segment. For those prioritizing a powerful diesel engine and a comfortable ride over luxury features, the Vento Trendline is a viable consideration.
Price
The Volkswagen Vento Diesel Trendline is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this variant starts at around Rs. 9.63 Lakh. However, the on-road price can vary depending on the location, with additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes. In major cities, the on-road price can range from Rs. 11.5 Lakh to Rs. 12.5 Lakh. This pricing positions the Vento Trendline as an affordable entry into the world of German-engineered sedans, offering a balance between cost and performance.

Just good engineering looks useless without appropriate customer care and transparency. I have booked VW Vento Diesel Highline version on 4th day after the launch.

- No communication from dealer.
- No commitment on when the car will be delivered, agreed delivery date past due
- Registered complaints with Sales, Customer Care, No Response from VW as well.
