USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Ford EcoSport Titanium Diesel is a compelling choice for those seeking a robust, feature-rich, and enjoyable driving experience. This vehicle stands out with its powerful 1.5-liter diesel engine, which delivers impressive performance, especially on highways where it can easily hit 120 kmph with minimal sluggishness. The light clutch and smooth gearbox, although not perfect, make city driving manageable. The cars build quality is solid, and the cabin is remarkably silent, thanks to good NVH levels. Features like hill hold assist, ESC, and a sunroof add to the overall value. However, minor drawbacks such as the A-pillar visibility issue and the sometimes rough gear shifting do not detract significantly from the overall experience. For someone looking for a fun-to-drive SUV with ample features and good safety credentials, the EcoSport Titanium Diesel is a strong contender.
Price
In India, the Ford EcoSport Titanium Diesel typically falls in the range of around 10.5 lakh to 11.5 lakh ex-showroom, depending on the region and any ongoing offers. On-road prices can vary significantly due to state-specific taxes and other charges, but you can expect to pay around 12.5 lakh to 14 lakh. This pricing makes the EcoSport Titanium Diesel a competitive option in its segment, especially considering the extensive list of features it offers, including advanced safety features and a premium interior. The value-for-money aspect is further enhanced by the cars performance and build quality, making it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a reliable and feature-packed SUV.
Latest Updates
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 06:22 PM The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) is known for its 1.5-litre EcoBlue diesel engine, which offers 100PS or 125PS, providing better fuel economy and more low-down power for overtaking. This engine is a significant selling point for those who prioritize fuel efficiency and performance. I believe this engine choice is a strong contender in its segment.
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 03:21 AM The Titanium+ variant of the Ford EcoSport comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, which has a reasonably positive shift, making it undemanding to use. However, some drivers might find the heavy clutch tiresome. This transmission is well-suited for the diesel engine, offering a balanced driving experience.
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 05:03 AM In terms of features, the Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) includes half-leather seats, a front centre armrest, and mood lighting, enhancing the interior comfort and ambiance. These features make the vehicle more appealing to buyers looking for a premium feel in a subcompact SUV.
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 06:09 AM The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) has a boot space that, while not the largest in its class, includes an adjustable floor as standard. However, the protruding rear bumper can make loading heavy luggage a bit cumbersome. This is something potential buyers should consider if they often need to carry bulky items.
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 01:02 PM Despite its age, the Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) remains fun to drive, especially in urban settings, thanks to its nimbleness and precise controls. The vehicles heavy steering provides good feedback, making it enjoyable to handle in tight corners.
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 07:07 AM The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) is priced around Rs. 11.39 lakh, making it a competitive option in the subcompact SUV segment. This pricing, combined with its features and performance, makes it a viable choice for those looking for a reliable and efficient vehicle.
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 11:07 AM Ford Indias decision to exit the Indian market has raised questions about the future of the EcoSport, including the Titanium+ (Diesel) variant. While production has stopped, existing models are still available in the market, and owners can expect continued support for service and parts. I think this is a significant development that will impact the resale value and long-term ownership experience of the vehicle.
Wednesday, 04 October 2023 06:38 AM Ford India launched the EcoSport Thunder Edition, which includes cosmetic and feature upgrades. Although not exclusively for the Titanium+ variant, this edition signifies Fords strategy to keep the EcoSport relevant in a competitive market. The Thunder Edition is priced at Rs. 10.68 lakh for the diesel version.
Monday, 28 June 2021 04:25 AM The Ford EcoSport Titanium+ (Diesel) has been spotted testing with new design elements, including updated DRLs and alloy wheels. These changes are expected to be part of a facelift aimed at refreshing the vehicles appearance and appeal. This could make the EcoSport look more contemporary and appealing to potential buyers.
Saturday, 16 February 2019 01:58 PM Ford India has updated the Titanium and Titanium+ variants of the Ford EcoSport with a new instrument cluster, enhancing the vehicles interior and user experience. This update is part of Fords efforts to keep the EcoSport competitive in the subcompact SUV market. I think this is a positive move, as it adds a touch of modernity to the vehicle.

I personally like my car from the core of my heart. I bought it from Chandigarh after a long waiting period of 10 months, yeah after the launch, waiting period was too long. I fall in for this SUV the day it got announced so long waiting period never changed my mind. It is indeed a very attractive car with sharp edged headlamps, hexagonal chromed grill and 16-inch alloy wheels. My friends and family was also amazed to see it. The most amazing feature of this SUV is its emergency assistance. Coming to the interior, it has cushioned seats and driver's seat supports four-way adjustment. Overall, the interior is luxurious and comfortable. I have done many long tours on it in a comfy manner. Heading to boot space, it has 346 litres capacity which is less than duster but it is sufficient for huge storage. In my journey to Kashmir the boot space felt less as the luggage for five friends didn't fit the boot. We stuffed the boot to extent that it refused to open. That was the only issue I faced with EcoSport.

A Fully Loaded Compact SUV

The build quality is really good. Doors are heavy and need effort to shut. The interior quality is acceptable but in comparison to fiesta some plastics are compromised on their quality. They appear to be more shiny in this SUV. The seats are comfortable and you can easily long tours without any hassle. EcoSport, with the stunning as well as futuristic design is surely a head turner. The company has done no compromise with the quality and comfort factor in the SUV. Even in the base model you will get everything which you desire in your dream car. Braking is quick and clutch is super smooth. Gear box is easy to handle with short shifts, the knob is a little big but that is something which we can live with. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder, direct-injection turbo EcoBoost really does deserve the title of International Engine of the Year.

Best Features: Fuel Efficient

Pros: Build quality, smooth engine, low maintenance, attractive design, comfortable, fuel efficient, value for money

Cons: No Flaws and Drawbacks
