This new model is priced at Rs 98,130 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes in a new Cyber Green color. The Answer Back function helps riders locate their scooter in crowded areas by flashing the indicators and emitting a beep. I think this feature is a game-changer for urban riders.

This is the largest recall for Yamaha in India, highlighting the companys commitment to safety. I believe such proactive measures build trust with customers.

    14 September 2023 04:15

You may drive it for as long as you want but we suggest taking proper brakes in between for better engine performance and riding continuously would also affect the driver's health. • Which one is best in braking and stability, Yamaha Ray ZR 125 or TVS Ntorq?

    21 August 2023 11:31

As per your requirements, we would suggest you go with the TVS NTorq 125. Though there is not much difference between the two, the NTorq excels by a small margin. In the braking test, the NTorq 125 comes to a halt at 20.30m (60-0kmph) while the RayZR 125 takes 21.91m. The telescopic fork and mono shock have been set up to soak up bumps, potholes, and speed humps without getting flustered.

  • Is this scooter comfortable for long rides and what about the suspension?

    21 August 2023 11:29

While it romps ahead in outright acceleration, and despite the linear power delivery of the motor, you can breeze past slow-moving traffic with a simple twist of the throttle. In the city, with the engine stop-start system helping out when necessary, the Ray ZR managed to deliver class-leading fuel efficiency of 66kmpl. Less weight means less stress on the engine to get up to cruising speeds, and the linear power delivery aids. On the highway, it isn’t bad either, matching NTorq’s fuel efficiency figure. The slightly smaller fuel tank might force you to stop for fuel sooner but the 20-25km deficit in range will not be a deal-breaker. On the other hand, the suspension components are new with Yamaha now opting for a more plush setup. The ride isn’t jarring like it was on the older 110cc scooter. There is an initial bit of firmness from the front telescopic fork the ride improves as the speeds get higher. The mono-shock is very softly sprung. It does get a little willowy when you tackle large speed humps with gusto or if you have a rather large pillion on board. So, you do experience that bounciness but that settles down fairly quickly as well, helping you regain composure with ease. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you take a test drive

  • Are all models of Yamaha Ray ZR 125 hybrid?

    21 August 2023 11:29

Yes, all models of Yamaha RayZR 125 feature a hybrid engine.
