Yamaha Motor India recently showcased several bikes to its dealer partners in the country and among them was the Triumph Street Triple-rivalling MT-09. The latest iteration of the motorcycle is already available in several international markets, and we expect the India-bound version to share the same specifications.

Thursday, 29 August 2024 12:41 PM The 2024 Yamaha MT-09 has undergone significant styling updates, including a new headlight design that features a centrally mounted LED projector headlight flanked by two LED positioning lamps. This new look is more in line with the previous 2020 model, addressing the criticism of the 2021 design. The fuel tank has also been tweaked for better ergonomics and acoustic changes, enhancing the riding experience. I believe these changes will make the bike more appealing to a wider range of riders.
Wednesday, 08 May 2024 10:02 PM Yamaha has introduced advanced electronic features in the 2024 MT-09, including a third-generation Quick Shift System (QSS) that allows for quick, clutchless upshifts and downshifts. The bike also features a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) enabling a suite of rider aids such as Traction Control, Slide Control, and front wheel Lift Control. These technologies make the bike highly versatile in various riding conditions. I think these updates will significantly enhance the bikes performance and safety.
Wednesday, 08 May 2024 05:41 AM The 2024 Yamaha MT-09 boasts improved ergonomics with a lower handlebar position and adjustable footrests, enhancing the riders connection with the bike. The new two-part seat design is slimmer, providing better freedom of movement and an easier reach to the ground. Additionally, the bike features a new Brembo radial master cylinder for improved braking performance. I believe these ergonomic changes will make the bike more comfortable and engaging to ride.
Wednesday, 08 May 2024 03:28 PM Yamaha has refined the suspension and braking system of the 2024 MT-09, including stiffer front suspension and a new rear suspension setup. The bike also features Brembo Stylema brakes on the SP model, which provide precise and powerful braking. These upgrades have improved the bikes handling and stability, especially during aggressive riding. I think these changes make the MT-09 a top contender in its class.
Wednesday, 08 May 2024 05:57 PM The 2024 Yamaha MT-09 SP model stands out with its Öhlins rear shock and fully adjustable KYB forks, along with electronic upgrades like the ability to turn off rear ABS in Track Mode. This model is positioned as a versatile option for both city riding and track days, offering a balance of comfort and performance. I believe the SP model is a great choice for riders looking for a do-it-all motorcycle.
