The Hero Glamour Blaze 125, although discontinued, was known for its distinctive design elements, including a fancier green dual-tone paint scheme that made it stand out in the 125cc segment. This edition added a fresh look to the motorcycle, making it a favorite among those who valued aesthetics. I think the Blaze edition was a great move by Hero to attract style-conscious buyers.

Hero Motocorp had priced the Glamour Blaze 125 at Rs 78,000 before it was discontinued. This pricing positioned it competitively in the market against other 125cc commuter motorcycles like the Honda SP 125 and Bajaj Pulsar 125. I believe the pricing was reasonable given the features and performance it offered.

The Hero Glamour Blaze 125 featured a BS6-compliant 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 10.7 HP of power and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. This engine, coupled with a 5-speed transmission and Heros XSens fuel-injection technology, ensured strong acceleration and good fuel efficiency. I think this engine setup was a significant improvement over the previous BS4 model.

In terms of technology, the Hero Glamour Blaze 125 lacked some of the advanced features now available in the newer Xtec variant, such as an all-LED headlamp and Bluetooth connectivity. However, it still had a semi-digital instrument cluster and other essential features. I believe the absence of these advanced features might have contributed to its discontinuation.

The Hero Glamour Blaze 125 had a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres and a seat height of 790 mm, which is relatively lower than many other commuter bikes, making it accessible to a wider range of riders. I think this design choice was beneficial for riders who prefer a more comfortable and manageable bike.
