Discussions and Questions - Royal Enfield Classic 250 Royal Enfield Classic 250
Maintenance costs of the Royal Enfield Classic 250 compared to its siblings will be how?
09 January 2025 09:11
The real question is: reliability. Maintenance costs don't really matter because if you build it well, it's going to break down less.
Will the Royal Enfield Classic 250 sound the same iconic 'thump' as the larger brothers?
09 January 2025 09:11
I'm concerned that they’ll overdo it with the thump, and come up with something that sounds fake. It’s better to allow it to have its own voice.
What will the Royal Enfield Classic 250 mean for the custom scene?
09 January 2025 09:11
This could really be huge for the custom scene. A cheaper base bike makes it possible for more people to be able to customize. There will be tons of wild Classic 250 builds.
Is the Royal Enfield Classic 250 a cash grab or a real innovation?
09 January 2025 09:11
I disagree. In India, the 250cc segment actually is a pretty popular segment and RE was missing out on that. For those new riders who find the 350 too intimidating, this could be a great entry point.
Will the Royal Enfield Classic 250 cannibalise the sales of the 350 or create a new audience?
09 January 2025 09:11
It could even increase 350 sales. The 250 might be tested for a ride, and they’ll decide they want more power, so they’ll upgrade to the 350.
Which one is more powerful: Royal Enfield Classic 250 or Bajaj Dominar 400?
02 January 2023 06:48
There is no Classic 250 on the Royal Enfield lineup. The smallest engine in the Classic series comes in the Classic 350. There is a segment difference between the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Royal Enfield Classic 350. The Dominar 400 has a 373.3cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine that produces a maximum power of 34.5 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 6,500 rpm. While on the other hand, the Classic 350 has a 346cc single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 19.8 hp and a peak torque of 28 Nm. If you were to compare the power figures solely, the Dominar 400 will come out on the top.
