Bajaj Auto Limited is a world renowned Indian three-wheeler and two-wheeler manufacturing company that deals in the manufacturing and selling of scooters, motorcycles and auto rickshaws and is based in Pune, Mumbai. It was founded in the 1930s by Jamnalal Bajaj in Rajasthan and is a part of Bajaj Group with its manufacturing plant in some major cities of India. It is the world's largest three-wheeler and 3rd largest motorcycle manufacturing company with great market capitalization and efficient sales and service record. As far as superiority in terms of technology can be discussed, it has its hands full with its recent cooperation deal with Austrian company, KTM Power Sports AG which helps it acquire almost half of the stake in that company, thus gaining a strong foothold in Asia.
Bajaj Discover 125 is a big name in two-wheeler segment in the Indian market with huge fan following and large network of the company. Recently, Bajaj has launched two new variants, Discover 125M and Discover 125M with disc brakes on March 7, 2014 with an ex-showroom, Delhi price of INR 48,000 for the former and INR 50,000 for the latter, where M stands for mileage. Let's check out this new variant which looks like it still have the family's DNA.
Bajaj Discover 125M has got a familiar look with the same features but is lashed with some beautiful new graphics. It includes a classic bikini fairing, sporty graphics, a tinted visor, black colored rear view mirrors on its handlebar, front fender with an integrated mud flap, angular headlight with twin pilot lamps, a masculine 9.5L fuel tank, same instrument cluster with two circular dials having an analogue speedometer, odometer and a fuel gauge along with some other controls, rider control on the right side of handlebar, a standard electric starter charged by a low maintenance battery, blacked out 10-spoke and 17-inch alloy wheels, engine and exhaust, a rear grab rail, LED tail light, front and rear clear lens indicators, an extended rear fender with number plate and a large and comfortable seat. Discover 125M has got a length of 1986mm, a width of 678mm and a height of 1044mm as its dimensions and a large wheelbase of 1255mm. It also has a good ground clearance of 165mm for a bump-free ride along with a weight of 117kgs.
Bajaj Discover 125M has got the same 124.6cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 4-valve head, air-cooled and carburetted, DTS-i equipped petrol engine with ExhausTEC which gives a maximum power of 11.3bhp at 8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 10.8Nm at 6,000rpm and is mated with a five speed gearbox having all gears in downshift pattern. It has got a top speed of 100kmph with a company claimed mileage of 76kmpl. It has also got a single down tube with semi-dual cradle steel frame, a wet multi-plate type clutch and a bore and a stroke of 54mm and 54.4mm respectively.
Bajaj Discover 125M has got 130mm drum brakes at front and rear wheels. The suspension system includes telescopic forks at front and dual gas-charged Nitrox shock absorbers with rectangular section swing arm at rear. The bike is also quite safe in terms of driving.
Bajaj Discover 125M is available in two options, with drum brakes at both wheels and with the option of a disc brake at front in six beautiful shades which includes wine Red, Charcoal Green, Electron Blue, Silver with Blue, Charcoal Magenta and Silver with Gold at an ex-showroom, Delhi price of INR 48,000 for the one with drum brakes and INR 50,000 for the one with front disk brake.

I bought Bajaj Discover 125ST in sep 2013. I get extremely good response from my bike.it gives feel of powerful racer bikes during riding, thanks for 4 valve twin spark engine.and also I get 70+ average many time. so I m very happy and enjoying my bike.and decide to use many years.

My discover 125T, it is a good vehicle.
Without any bias, I rode this to Goa from Mandya. 673kms. Haven't faced any problems. And in the city another 200 kms. By using right engine oil,(Valvoline), till this day, no problem with this.
Best Features: For a long tour. It is smooth. No glitches.
Pros: Mileage. Look. Ease of maintenance.
