"Figo" Shows Indian Market Is Very Important

Overview of Ford Figo

Ford unveiled its new small car 'Figo' in September, 2009 to compete with the likes of Maruti Ritz, Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz & Skoda Fabia. The company has managed to sell it it very good numbers and Figo is now one of the best selling cars in India. Ford India has upgraged the ZXi and Titanium variants of Figo. The ZXi now features tilt steering and USB port integrated in the music system. In addition to these two features, the Titanium variant will now come with factory-fitted alloy wheels. The price of these variants has also increased; the ZXi variant is now dearer by 6000 rupees and Titanium's price has increased by 17000 rupees. It is expected that with addition of these features Ford India would be able to attract more buyers. A new variant EXi (O) has also been introduced in both petrol and diesel. It comes with factory fitted music system and price is Rs. 14000 more than the EXi variant.

  Figo is the best in its class. It has the inherited diesel engine(really powerful- feel hard to believe it is 70 bhp- and is very responsive) from Fiesta. I own Figo ZXI Diesel. It have lots of features different form the competitors. * Opening boot with just a click on the car key. * Amazing audio experience. * Indicators turn off itself after the car made the turn * Breaking from high speeds will automatically switch the hazard indication. * The unrivalled driving comfort and passenger comfort. The only drawback is that the rear window opens only 40% ;and therefore the company didnot put rear power windows. Those who want rear power window can additionally fit it just for about Rs:3000 per each power window. Watch this video.   1. Good in City drive and in heavy traffic, 2. Steering precision is perfect and visibility is very good...VFM. 3. Ground Clearance (168) is an issue, but can be managed...go slow near pothholes and Speed breakers..or increase tyre pressue a bit. 4. Very spacious interiors and good boot space. 5. Proven Fiesta Diesel Engine with good mileage and overall performace

  Very low car, less head room, poor visibility and less mileage of abt 14 in city in diesel., noise y diesel Motor with less bhp of 68 an not much pulling power 168nm..than the competition .
