The Royal Enfield always had great demand due to its rugged performance. But, the problem lies in the fact that customer can own the bike after substantial waiting periods. With limited production units and soaring orders, the company is facing problems to deliver orders timely. The current facilities are not enough to handle the growing demand. The launch of the Thunderbird 500 motorcycle has been delayed as the company has apprehension regarding its inability to cope up with the number of incoming orders. The requirement for the company is a good production base that can deliver the orders in time and a good dealer network. In the past, Royal Enfield owners have faced problems regarding service support. To satisfy its customers fully, the company should invest more towards enhancing production, opening more service centres and dealership networks.
