Honda to Produce Diesel Engines in Rajasthan
Honda's upcoming plant in Tapukara Rajasthan will be where the Japanese manufacturer will produce the 1.5 litre diesel mill that will power the Amaze. It is powered by the 1.5 litre i-DTEC will be the only diesel powered Honda in India for the next year, and we don't mind that fact because we are sure, Honda will be selling them as they can rush them off the factory floor.
The City and the Jazz will have diesel power by the end of 2014. Also interesting is Honda's claim, that the 1.5 litre will be start of a new range of small diesels produced by the company, which makes us hopeful of a full diesel range, offered by the company.
